Manure spreading to prevent soil erosion

Are you thinking of spreading manure to prevent soil erosion? The Agricultural Operation Practices Act (AOPA) prohibits spreading manure on frozen or snow-covered land, however AOPA provides for NRCB inspectors to authorize this practice under unique and extraordinary circumstances. Land owners must obtain permission from the NRCB before spreading.
